Engagement method
How Platform Wise conducts an application audit of procurement workflow applications — from briefing to final brief.
A clear method keeps audits proportionate. Below is the sequence we use for a full procurement application audit; focused reviews and pre-go-live checks compress the same steps.
Briefing and access
We confirm which applications sit in scope, who owns them, and how read access will be granted. Confidentiality terms and a fraud-escalation protocol are signed before any records are opened.
Role-based walkthroughs
Buyers create sample requisitions. Approvers release or reject them. Vendor stewards demonstrate onboarding and bank-detail changes. We watch the application, not a demonstration script written for sales visits.
Evidence sampling
A defined set of purchase orders, tender evaluations, invoice exceptions, and vendor amendments is traced through logs and documents. Sample sizes are agreed up front so the calendar stays honest.
Working draft
Findings go back to your nominated contacts for factual correction. Severity rankings stay ours; wording about your organisation’s context can be refined together.
Final brief and handoff
You receive the ranked findings, evidence references, and a remediation outline. One clarification session is included. Further advisory days can be booked separately if you want help sequencing fixes.
What we need from you
A sponsor who can open doors, a technical contact for application access, and calendars for the people who actually buy and approve. Without those three, an audit stalls — we will say so early rather than bill empty days.
